Swimming through the rushing rapids of our temporary existence can be exhausting.
Many of us are born surrounded by lifeguards that prevent us from sinking to the icy depths.
But eventually we get heavy.
We realize that other people are also swimming in the harsh pool that is life.
Paddling is exhausting and sometimes pointless.
Life is cruel.
Immersed in heavy liquids, many of us see an island we want to reach.
Life is challenging.
Some of us reach our island and feast on the fruits grown there.
Life is luscious.
Alas, we will drown.
Life can be like razors that cut you with every breath.
But we swam for a moment.
And it was magnificent.
